3. AGE CATEGORIES:
• group 0 (16+) women and men born in 2010-1990
• group 1 (35+) women and men born in 1986-1990
• group 2 (40+) women and men born in 1981-1985
• group 3 (45+) women and men born in 1976-1980
• group 4 (50+) women and men born in 1966-1975
• group 5 (60+) women and men born in 1956-1965
• group 6 (70+) women and men born in 1956-
4. GAMEPLAY SYSTEM:
A. All categories will be played in groups with eliminations play-off system, two players
getpromotion from group stage.
B. The man and woman player may play a maximum of 3 game types, but not 2 age
categories of the same game type.
C. The tournament will be played in all game types (men’s singles, women’s singles, men’s
doubles, women’s doubles, mixed) in each age category with a minimum of 3 entries. With
the number of entries lower than 3, the competitors are automatically assigned to the
younger group;
D. The older player may play in the younger category;
E. Seeding according to the Badminton Seniors Regulations and in accordance with the
current nationwide classification list of seniors;

7. ENTRY FEE:
30 EUR / player / discipline
8. AWARDS: Cups (winners) + medals (first 3-4 in each discipline) and prizes according to
the organizer’s capability.
8. CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION:
A. date of birth in accordance with Age groups;
B. timely application for games;
C. payment of the entry fee: 30 EUR for a single game, 30 EUR for a doubles game from a
player (from 9:00 to 12.00 on Friday and Saturday at the tournament office) ;
Entry fees you can pay during the tournament or pay by bank transfer.

There is also possibility to pay for entry fees and hotel to the organizers when players arrive.
D. having current sports and medical examinations or submitting a declaration confirmed by
the participant ́ s signature that there are no health contraindications to participate in the
tournament;
(from 9:00 to 12.00 on Friday and Saturday at the organizer’s table as well)
E. possession of the equipment (including shuttlecocks-possibility to buy it in the hall) and
sports clothing according to regulations.9. REGISTRATION FOR GAMES
– Entry is open on 12th March 2026
A. Applications for all games should be submitted on the application form available on the
Tournamentsoftware.com.
B. players entering the tournament are required to provide:
• name and surname, year of birth, game type, doubles partners;
• and optionally they may provide: declaration to play in a younger age category, other
information (e.g. telephone number).

Date of the draw and game plan: 16.00 p.m 9th June 2026
12th June 2026 Friday:
8.00 a.m – 10:00 a.m. warm up
Friday – all singles 10:00 a.m.- start of play – and first rounds of mixted doubles around 4.00
p.m until 9.00 p.m
13th June 2026 Saturday:
Saturday – all doubles and mixted doubles 09:00 a.m. – start of play – until 8.00 p.m.
Saturday 1.00 p.m. official opening,
14th June 2026 Sunday:
Sunday: 9:00- continue final stage of tournaments, depends on how many players will come
to play.11. SHUTTLES:

12. AIRPORT / TRANSPORT:
Transport (pick up) only from AIRPORT Franjo Tuđman Zagreb Croatia
to the Tournament hotels and from the hotels to the Airport provided by the Organizer. 20€
per
person of charge, if accommodation is booked to the official hotels.
The Airport Franjo Tuđman is located 40 km from Brežice.

Players shall not plan their departure less than three (3) hours after their last match is
planned to conclude.

16. FOOD:
Food truck with burgers, fries and salads throughout the day of events.
The organizer provides water, coffee and tea free of charge.
17. PLAYER PARTY:
Welcome par evening will start on Thursday, June 11, 2026 from 8:00 p.m. in PR Šefu,
Prešernova street 17, 8250 Brežice
The integration evening will start on Saturday, June 13, 2026 from 9:00 p.m. in MC Club
Hostel Brežice.
18. OTHERS:
A. The tournament is conducted in accordance with the Badminton Seniors Regulations,
B. Referee – decides in case of disputes,
C. The organizer is not responsible for the health of the tournament participants and
does not insure the participants against accidents during the competition.
D. Competitors interested in insurance should do it on their own.
E. During the tournament, service and badminton equipment shop are Li-ning.

Important for all players who need visa for Slovenia. Badminton Association an official
